‘I made an extra $8,000 a month from TikTok – Here’s how I did it’

Beth, the TikTok influencer behind @bethmfuller, is sharing her journey to financial success on social media. Despite it being a side hustle to her regular 9-to-5 job, she’s raking in substantial earnings through TikTok.
Based in Newcastle, UK, Beth detailed her income as an influencer, revealing that it took four months before she started seeing profits. In April, she pocketed £6,065 ($7,730), and set a goal for May of £6,300 ($8,000).
“I’m genuinely blown away with how much money you can make doing this, and it’s purely, like, on the side of my full-time job. When I say the opportunity is huge it’s insane.”
With approximately 21,000 TikTok followers and 3,000 on Instagram, Beth falls into the micro-influencer category but still surpassed her monthly earning goals.
She ended up making around £6,461.49, totaling over £12,000 or $15,000 in just two months.

“When I was pregnant in the pandemic, I just had like freelance market to try and grapple with, like I couldn’t get a full time job anywhere.”
“I remember I tried to earn £12,000 in the year. Like, I’ve just earned that on the side of my job in the past two months.”
Beth explains that as an influencer, income streams vary; a small part comes from affiliate links, while sponsored posts contribute the largest share.
Initially, she never imagined she’d secure even one sponsored post per month. However, she’s now consistently hitting that target.
In addition, Beth conducts master classes to guide aspiring content creators on strategic planning.
